Evaluation process

Leadership Assessment:

We conduct one-on-one meetings with the leadership team, where they are asked a set of pre-agreed questions. They provide two sets of responses—one assessing the current culture and another expressing their vision for the desired culture. By consolidating these responses into two datasets, we can plot each leader's position (anonymously) and assess the overall alignment and areas for change within the organisation.

Staff Engagement:

To ensure a holistic view of the culture, it's crucial to include staff perspectives. We facilitate surveys or shorter pulse surveys to gauge staff opinions on key culture-related issues. This helps identify any gaps between management perception and staff experience, fostering engagement and enhancing the implementation process.

Review of Additional Data:

In addition to surveys and leadership assessments, we analyse other data sources, such as customer complaints, sick leave, staff turnover, grievances, and exit interviews. These insights provide a broader context for evaluating the current culture and identifying areas that may require attention.

Diagnostic of Current Culture/Target Culture and Implementation

The data collected from leadership assessments, staff engagement, and additional sources are combined to create a diagnostic report. This report offers valuable insights into the existing culture, highlighting alignment levels, communication effectiveness, and engagement within the organization. We then facilitate a meeting with the leadership team to present the analysis and collaboratively define the target culture. We refer back to the organization's strategic aims, purposes, and values to ensure the target culture aligns with the overarching goals.

Implementation

Establishing a Culture Committee:

We recommend setting up a culture committee comprising representatives from various departments within your organization. This committee will act as a driving force for cultural change, overseeing the implementation process and ensuring alignment with the target culture.

Working Groups and Topics:

Within the culture committee, create working groups focused on specific topics identified during the diagnostic phase. These topics may include breaking down silos, effective communication of values, leadership development, fostering feedback and learning, and promoting diversity. Each working group will report progress back to the culture committee.

Transparent Communication and Feedback:

Throughout the implementation process, it is crucial to communicate openly and transparently with all staff members. Share how staff responses influenced the development of the target culture and address any concerns or feedback. This fosters a sense of ownership and engagement while ensuring that all voices are heard and valued.

By following these three key implementation steps, we can help your organization effectively embed the target culture, engage employees, and foster a positive and thriving work environment.
